Who it's for

Salesforce, built for your mission

Salesforce is the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) platform behind thousands of nonprofits: one place for donors, volunteers, members, programs, and grants, along with every gift, conversation, and touchpoint tied to them. Set up well, NPSP or Nonprofit Cloud replaces scattered spreadsheets and inboxes with one trusted source of truth, and reports, automation, and AI show where fundraising and program work can be streamlined.

  • Small & grassroots nonprofits

Track donors, volunteers, gifts, and programs in one place, even with a staff of two and a tight budget. A lean, well-built setup keeps the personal touch as you grow.

  • Established, multi-department nonprofits

Coordinate fundraising, programs, and grant reporting across departments, with clean data and dashboards your board and funders can trust.

  • Foundations, associations & member groups

Keep members, events, dues, grants, and communication organized, and reach people with the right message at the right time.

  • Universities & research programs

Bring advancement, programs, and outreach together across departments without losing track of who is talking to whom.

Already using one of these? I can connect it to Salesforce, or help you move off it.

What I do

Services

Hands-on Salesforce help for nonprofits, from a first implementation to steady, ongoing support.

Salesforce administration

Users, permissions, fields, page layouts, and the day-to-day changes that keep your NPSP or Nonprofit Cloud org running smoothly.

Consulting & strategy

Work through how your organization actually operates and decide what Salesforce should and shouldn't do for you.

Implementation & migration

New Salesforce setups and moves from Raiser's Edge, spreadsheets, or other CRMs, built around your real process, not a generic template.

Integration

Connect Salesforce to your online giving, forms, email, and event tools so gifts and data flow in without re-entry.

Data cleanup & AI readiness

Audit your existing org, fix data quality and duplicates, and retire clutter so the system is easier to trust, use, and build Agentforce and other AI tools on.

Reporting & dashboards

Fundraising, program, and grant reports that give leadership and your board a clear, current view without spreadsheet work.

Training & documentation

Plain-language guides and hands-on training so staff and volunteers can use Salesforce with confidence.

Retainer support

A set block of hours each month for admin tasks, enhancements, and questions, like having a part-time Salesforce admin on call.

How I work

Simple, clear, and personal

You work directly with me from the first call through ongoing support. Every project rests on clear communication, thorough research, and a complete resolution, with no hand-offs and no surprises on scope or billing.

Conversation

Clear communication and expectations from the first call: your mission, who's involved, what isn't working, and what success looks like.

Discovery

Thorough research into your current org, data, and needs, including time with the staff and volunteers who use it every day.

Plan

A clear proposal covering priorities, scope, and estimated hours before any work begins.

Build

Hands-on Salesforce configuration, data migration, and enhancements, with regular check-ins and a shared view of open tasks.

Train

Plain-language documentation and hands-on training so your team can run Salesforce with confidence.

Support

Fixes that lead to complete resolutions, plus optional retainer hours as your organization grows.

About

Hi, I'm Chris.

I love building things. My childhood dream to become a Lego master builder was cut short by a minimal allowance, but the same instincts serve me well in Salesforce consulting for nonprofits.

Running Salesforce really comes down to knowing which pieces plug in where, and when you don't have the right piece, making one. Every nonprofit I've worked with has been different, with its own pain points and needs, potential and restrictions. I enjoy taking unrefined or problematic systems and lifting them to a higher standard.

Alongside Salesforce work, I bring experience in fundraising data, data migration, training and mentoring, user experience, solutioning, and general business analysis. Paired with a liberal arts education, that range helps me relate to people across roles and departments, and makes me a natural coordinator and problem-solver. I believe in quality work delivered on deadline, better experiences for the people who use the system every day, and outstanding service.
